You may wonder why I have chosen lighthouses for this website. I find the lighthouse a good symbol for the many facets of the idea of orientation. I consider finding one’s own, personal orientation in life is a main, even the basic necessity in any kind of psychotherapeutic work. Without this personal orientation provided by the connection to oneself (and one’s Self) it is extremely difficult to find and follow a meaningful path in life. I consider it my job to accompany a person on the path of finding and learning to maintain contact with their own, personal lighthouse.
